Considering how understudied Minnesota's odonates are, it seems like a shame not to have the information collected somewhere, even though from entomologists' point of view it's not as good as having a specimen to examine. You could upload it to the Odonata Central website -- they will accept photos without a voucher specimen as long as they can be clearly identified.Raphael Carternoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6878513974955445011.post-47973955224635545782009-11-03T07:22:21.840-06:002009-11-03T07:22:21.840-06:00your macro shots are simply MARVELOUS.I LOVE IT, R...your macro shots are simply MARVELOUS.I LOVE IT, REALLY

CONGRATS
HAVE A NICE WEEK
graceolsson.se/mittlivhttp://graceolsson.com/bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13722985233664576926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6878513974955445011.post-31789254763530426102009-11-02T18:29:24.298-06:002009-11-02T18:29:24.298-06:00Crisp, cool closeups! As to the number of wings, both dragonflies and damselflies have four wings, the difference is in wing position. Dragonflies hold their wings out flat when sitting, damselflies hold them along the line of their abdomen.Dave Ingramhttp://www.daveingram.canoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6878513974955445011.post-30901867999057046382009-11-02T15:56:36.823-06:002009-11-02T15:56:36.823-06:00That last shot is interesting.
