This weeks Watery Wednesday photo was taken in the fall of 2007.As I was heading to Crex Meadows, to do some birding, I crossed over the St Croix River. I just had to stop and get a couple of pics. The trees had just begun to turn color and the reflection of the red, yellows, and oranges contrasted against the blue sky and water was magical.

You did just that with this pic. Amazing. One of the best I have seen so far.
Nice one, Ecobirder. Wouldn't mind doing a little walking up there myself, enjoying the water, the trees, and, no doubt, the abundant wildlife.
I don't there is a more beautiful fall photo you can take then autumn trees on a calm lake!
Got to be one of the best fall pictures I've ever seen. Pat yourself on the back for this one.
Wow, that's what I'd call "reflection perfection"!!
I love these reflection photos, my husband says to turn the photo on it's side and you have a Christmas tree. More fall colors, the more it appears that way to him.
Arrgggggggggg... I can't hold it back any more, I'm sorry!
You and Shellmo have GOT to learn the difference between then and than...or I'm going to have to see my dentist and my eye-doctor for all the wincing and teeth-gnashing I do reading your blog.
Then is a time thing
Than is a comparison thing!
I do hope that helps...because I really do like to visit your blogs!
This is so pretty....a double row of beauty thanks to the water! Great shot!
Absolutely stunning!
Did you see any interesting birds?
Wow. This is absolutely gorgeous! That gold against the blue of the sky and water is spectacular! Nice shot!
Wow, love the yellow trees.
That is beautiful color and i love the reflection on the water.
About 40 years ago I remember walking in the woods up at Taylor's Falls, on the St. Croix River.(I think I've got the location right). It was fall and it was like walking in sunshine because of the golden yellow of the leaves. I've never forgotten it. Unreal.
The mirrored image is a beautiful photograph!
