I had hoped that last Thursday that I would be able to get a photograph of the first sunrise of 2009, unfortunately the weather was not cooperative. So last week I had to use a flight shot of geese that I took on Christmas morning for my SkyWatch post instead of the beautiful New Years sunrise that I had hoped to share with you.
However as New Years day progressed the clouds eventually cleared so I went out and did a bit of shooting and even though I did not get the first sunrise of the year I did get the next best thing.
...and a lovely one it is! Alothough we are in summer, I have had neither sunrises nor sunsets worth taking this week. Just clear hazy skies.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and delicate.

ReplyDeleteGood for you for being persistent enough to get the first sunset. Too bad about the sunrise. Maybe NEXT year. ;-)
