Now, isn't that the perfect picture of a White-throated Sparrow!?! I just love it when I'm hiking or paddling and I can hear their lovely and unmistakable song!! ~karen
It took me the better part of a week to identify the distinctive song we heard in the woods of northeastern Minnesota as a white-throated sparrow. Though I'd seen them feeding in the area around our cabin I'd never actually seen one calling. But the clear multi-note song became the background of our week.
