I Bet We Could All Use a Little Sun

I photographed this field of sunflower at the Carpenter Nature Center back in July. Carpenter has quite a bit of wild prairie habitat during the summer with frequent patches of these sunflowers.
I believe that these sun flower are Helianthus occidentalis or the few-leaf sunflower. The few-leaf sunflower is a native member of the Aster family and is found mostly in sandy prairie habitat.
