Wildflowers have finally begun to spring up around here. I found several patches of these flowers today when I was out looking for warblers. I believe that they are a type of white violet, perhaps the small white violet which is native to Minnesota. I was just happy to see them and know that Spring is finally here.

The wildflowers are so pretty!
What delicate little blooms. Violets are some of my favourite flowers in the garden so it is interesting to see them growing in the wild.
New to your blog... love the content!
Wildflowers cheer me, too. I was just out at the Lowry Nature Center west of the metro, and spring beauties, hepatica, and toothwort were all making their presence known. Hooray!
We are so sorry for you! We see these "Johnny Jump-ups" come out in early February on Vancouver Island!
