Butterfly Weed

Butterfly weed is a member of the milkweed family with a bright orange flower and is very good at doing what its name implies, attracting butterflies.

  3. We even have white flowering milkweed in Australia. Do you? The butterflies seem to prefer the white flowering type as host for their eggs. The fields dance with butterflies in summer.
