I picked many a milkweed pod a s a child without ever realizing they had pink blossoms.
Just lovely and rich in color and vibrancy.
I don't think I noticed the pink of milkweed blossoms before, either. Even when I lived near the monarchs in Santa Cruz, it was really separate from the milkweed that they fed on.
I do not remember seeing the milkweed in bloom before, just in silk! thanks for sharing. Faythe @GMT
