Today's Flowers: Bee on Purple-stemmed Aster

I hope that everyone has had a good weekend. My weekend was kind of busy, and I did not get out to get a whole lot of shooting done but it was exciting none the less, more on that in a later post.
For those out there that celebrate Easter, Happy Easter. For those that do not celebrate Easter happy Today's Flowers Sunday.
As usual for this weeks Today's Flowers I have some pics with flowers that are accompanied by insects.
I received so many nice compliments with last weeks Today's Flowers that I decided to post some more pics from the Old Cedar Avenue Bridge area of the Minnesota Valley NWA.
So here are some more pics of bees on purple-stemmed aster which were taken back on September 25th. If you look carefully you can see small little flecks of yellow on the bees legs and abdomen, this is pollen which has gotten trapped on the bee and will be transferred by the insect to another flower thus pollinating it.
