Heron Rookery

On Tuesday we finally made it up into the 80s for the first time this year. In fact we almost made it up into the 90s. At 88 degrees we came close to hitting the record for the day. This picture of the heron rookery in the North Mississippi Regional Park, with all of its ice and snow, was only taken a little over a month ago. Weather can change quite quickly here in Minnesota.

Fabulous photo of the heron rookery. I love the reflection, and the ice in the water reminding us to treasure Spring now that we have it.
