Oh my, these are awesome shots.....mine look pathetic! I have a blog on them....What in the Sandhill? I laid in the grass trying to get them and they just kept walking away no matter how far I was from them. They were in the bean field next to our pastures....I was just learning on a new camera I got from my family! Taken about four years ago...I've improved since then thank goodness! I was very far away! Love all your photos! Luane
Beautiful...When visiting my parents at their retirement community in Florida a few years back, they had a pair of these beautiful birds nesting in their back yard (a water reservoir is there)..they fed them by hand, and I was thrilled to not only see it, but take part in it as well..they were very spoiled birds :)
