Great photo. A bird would love that as a meal! When I worked as a reporter at a small newspaper in Arkansas, I covered events where Lynn Sciumbato made appearances. She runs the Morningstar Wildlife Rehablitation Center, which focuses fairly tightly on birds most of the time. She brings quite a nice live collection of owls and other raptors, some of which she eventually releases back into the wild. What a neat thing you and she do.

I love the iridescent blue against the black - and vertical pose is perfect!
