Winter Frost by Sabrina Helphrey

winter frost forms on the window
a window that looks out at the soal
this winter comes with no mercy
the winter that calls itself a friend
it grasps and holds its prey dear
starting to extract all of it's warmth
then suddenly it lets go
throwing it's prey out the door
leaving the prey to look through the window
only to find winter frost apon it's soul

Love images of Hoarfrost! Well done given the opportunity!

Beautiful, cold image and words that say winter has worn out its welcome.
With stormy weather predicted for California I hope that will mean an end to your deep freeze.

You managed to capture the art of nature and to interpret, and therefore, create new art for our eyes. Sublime wonder.
