Our school grew some swan plants for the monarch butterflies. But the winter is too cold, and some butterflies hatch, but they die. Poor students to have to accept death.
One of these landed on my arm yesterday. I held very still as it opened and closed its wings over and over again. After two minutes I was no longer needed and it left. Wonderful shot!

I think it is official..this Wednesday is Butterfly WW.

What a beautiful Buttefly. I have never seen a White Admiral before, what a beauty your image is too~
I saw and photographed my first White Admiral this year and was so very excited. This is a beautiful capture. ~karen
