I love this little perennial! I had several plants at my old house because I had fallen in love with this original stunning bloom!
I've never seen them here at home in MN, but I found them while exploring the Rocky Mountains this summer.. little gems. http://ourfunwithfive.blogspot.com/2012/07/colorado-vacation-rocky-mountain.html
