It's a little late but it looks like spring may have finally arrived here in Minnesota. The temperature has been slowly increasing which has melted much of the snow and opened up some of the water on some of the lakes. Already our early arrivals, like the great blue heron, are working hard to get things ready for their new family.

Great blue heron building a nest huh? Great shot.
Such an exquisite capture, beautiful bird!
Winter's been sitting around forever also in our region. It snowed all day on Tuesday, but today the sun came out.
Happy sky Watch,

Great picture!!
A beautiful sight!
Wow - nice capture! We have a rookery near us, but the heron nests are sooo far back in the marsh it's hard to get a good view.
Spring is slow to come here in France too. What a glorious photo!
