We have black capped chickadees at our feeder through winter.

I'm surprised he gave you a bite in the 1st photo! :-) I love these cheery little birds. When I come out of the cabin - i have a couple that like to land on my shoulder or head. But when the hubby comes out - they immediately go to his hand looking for sunflower seeds.

Awwww! I don't know if I'm more impressed by the photos or the fact that it's resting so comfortably in your hand. Makes me miss the cockatiel I used to have.

I love chickadees. They are so brave and spend lots of time at our feeder and in our birdbaths. They are rarely afraid of us.
