My son and husband saw one of these when out in the canoe on Memorial Day. You'll be gratified to know that in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., there are still places where herons feel welcome. Great photo!

Great pictures. I've only seen them from a distance with a couple of bad long distance shots.

Beautiful, nicely focused well photographed! I only recently saw a green Heron for the first time in person, they are much more colorful that the night Heron.

These are nice shots. I like Herons and Loons, especially listening to the loons on some lake up north.

I am opening my coopers hawk blog back up again. And I am in the process of adding pictures. I have thousands so it is difficult to decide what to use.
