Another relatively easy waterfall to see in Yellowstone National Park is the Kepler Cascades. The best view of the falls is from a platform that overlooks the gorge. This platform is located adjacent to the road just a couple miles south east of Old Faithful on the lower loop.
The falls was named after Kepler Hoyt, the son of the then territorial govenor of Wyoming, back in 1881. The Kepler Cascades is a three tiered waterfall that drops over 50 feet as the Firehole River travels north.
