The Cloud by Percy Bysshe Shelley Part 4

The sanguine Sunrise, with his meteor eyes,
And his burning plumes outspread,
Leaps on the back of my sailing rack,
When the morning star shines dead;
As on the jag of a mountain crag,
Which an earthquake rocks and swings,
An eagle lit one moment may sit
In the light of its golden wings,
And when sunset may breathe, from the lit sea beneath,
Its ardors of rest and of love.

Gorgeous shot from the park and your choice of poet only enhances the view.
p.s. I've found several of your Eastern Bluebird photos on Google when I went looking for some for my blog. Greetings from St. Paul too.

Nature strikes her poses for us, and we capture them in words and photos, because both remind us of the beauty we saw firsthand.

I looked up the previous three. Nice dose of Shelley with the Yellowstone pictures, and I'm glad to have found your blog!
