Reakirt's Blue Butterfly

 Reakirt's Blue Butterfly
The Reakirt's blue (Echinargus isola) is a small blue butterfly of the south west. They range from southern California to the Gulf Coast of Texas and down into Mexico and Central America. During the summer these butterflies often migrate north and east and have been found as far away as Wisconsin and Ohio. These were photographed at Bentsen State Park in southern Texas.
