OMG, is it Wednesday already? I was just noticing how quickly the moon shrinks in size. Seems as though it was just full - yet another unwelcomed reminder of how quickly time passes. These are beautiful shots, very card-worthy! A few late season butterflies passed through this TX backyard yesterday, but were to busy to pose for the camera. Darn!
A handsome creature with its silver spots. When I was a boy I prided myself on knowing the name of this butterfly. I liked to say "fritillary". I recall being fond of "linoleum" for the same reason.
