The Day After

This morning, after a lot of rich old white guys spent billions of dollars, Barack Obama is once again our future president. I am very happy with the election results. Here in Minnesota two bad amendments to our state constitution were defeated as well as a good number of Tea Party whakos. Since the environment is very important to me I support candidates that are pro environment and Tea Party people are not on that list. I think that this picture of Phoenix is the perfect picture to post on a morning like this. Congratulations President Obama and congratulations USA.

I hear you loud and clear. Yesterday we learned that American's can't be bought and that they do know the difference between truth and untruth. I was proud of us and thrilled for President Obama.

"Whether we and our politicians know it or not, Nature is party to all our deals and decisions, and she has more votes, a longer memory, and a sterner sense of justice than we do." -Wendell Berry.
One of my favorite manifestos of all time. If you haven't read Mr. Berry, check him out.

I have to say that for a foreign election I rather pleased with the result!

Thanks for linking to WBW. I was in Oman all last week, hence the slow reply!
