As children we look at clouds in wonder. We sit for hours trying to identify the shapes floating by over our head. We wonder if the clouds are made of cotton candy or if we can bounce on them like a mattress and use them in pillow fights.
As we get older we learn that clouds are just visible droplets of water or tiny shards of ice that gather together floating through the atmosphere. As time goes by the droplets grow until they can no longer sustain their position in the air and then they fall to earth.
However, even though we know the truth, the facts, the science about clouds they are still magical no matter what our age.

Nice post and a pretty sky.
So very true - but I still find cloud formations wondrous!
I think clouds will always be magical to me at least, and they never fail to take my breath away, as do your photos each week and this one is no exception! Exquisite shot! Have a lovely weekend!

i agree, they will always remain magical and mysterious for me just the way i see the clouds in your photo :)
I would like to be exploring that area...looks interesting and I loe that sky...
Well written and so correct! Even I ponder about the scientific reasons of existence of humans, plants, clouds, sky, sun, moon and everything natural that exists.. But after all that, it's just the magic that you are most excited about. The magic that created everything :-)

You mean clouds are made of cotton wool?
Lovely shot.
True indeed! These look so beautiful and light!
Have a great weekend.
Clouds are formed by water vapor condensing on to dust particles...The sky looks very pretty indeed. An amazing shot.
